Exus secures €200 million to keep driving the growth of its integrated platform

Exus secures €200 million to build the power behind Europe’s digital and industrial growth

Exus, a leading integrated power and digital infrastructure platform, has closed a €200 million financing with Banco Santander and Societe Generale. The funds will support the continued growth of a company that develops, builds and operates the generation, storage and grid infrastructure needed to bring firm, reliable power to the grid and to large energy consumers, at scale and speed.

Raised at holding company level, this financing comes at a pivotal moment for Exus, as it will give the company the flexibility to refinance existing debt and fund construction, acquisitions and new project development, consolidating its integrated platform as a single counterparty across both grid and large-load projects. A letter of credit facility will also support grid connection and offtake requirements for both energy and digital projects.

“Exus is on a strong growth trajectory, and this financing gives us a scalable structure to build on it,” said João Pedro Summaville, Chief Financial Officer of Exus. “It strengthens our capacity to keep investing across energy and digital infrastructure with discipline, as we expand our presence in Europe. We are grateful to Santander and Societe Generale for their commitment and support.”

Banco Santander, S.A. and Societe Generale acted as Mandated Lead Arrangers and Co-Underwriters on the transaction, with Banco Santander, S.A. also acting as Facility Agent and Security Agent.
